The Distressed Real Estate Institute is a rapidly growing South Florida based real estate company that teaches real estate investors from all over the world how to invest in real estate. We teach wholesaling, fixing and flipping and buying and holding real estate long term at our Distressed Real Estate Boot Camps and Fixing and Flipping Houses Boot Camps in South Florida. We are a small dynamic team and we are looking for talented, hungry, motivated individuals to join us.

Our company is founded by an experienced real estate investor and entrepreneur. If you are interested in learning about real estate and you are a social media marketing rock star looking to get in on the ground floor with a fast-paced, rapidly growing business then this role is for you.

The Role

We are looking for a social media intern to join our company. You will be responsible for helping create and manage our social media strategy across multiple social media platforms including Facebook, You Tube, Instagram, Pinterest, iTunes, Blog posts and Podcasts. You will be creating and editing audio and video content, and posting on multiple social media channels daily. You will be responsible for everything social media related in our company.

As our social media intern, you will have the opportunity to work extremely closely with the founder of our company. This role is incredibly collaborative and multi-faceted; you’ll be required to constantly learn on the job and ultimately contribute to our fast-paced team.

We’re looking for someone who is extremely resourceful and enjoys figuring things out on their own. You must be a self-starter and be able to figure things out yourself. This is an in-house entry-level position; candidates must live in or relocate to the Boca Raton, Florida area.

Responsibilities

• Passionate about social media (Instagram, Facebook, You Tube, Pinterest)
• Contribute to social media and internet marketing across multiple platforms
• Pay Per Click Advertising and Facebook and You Tube Advertising

Requirements

• must be active on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook with knowledge of pay per click advertising, Facebook Advertising and You Tube Advertising.

 Qualifications

• Experienced in social media marketing including Instagram, You Tube, Facebook
• Knowledge of pay per click and paid advertising on You Tube, Instagram and Facebook
• Extremely detail oriented and pays attention to every little detail.
• Superior problem solving and analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)

 The Ideal Candidate

• Flexible and able to shift priorities quickly and execute in a fast-paced environment
• Very good at prioritizing. You never miss a deadline and get things done ahead of time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to organize
• Enjoys collaboration – this role will be working with multiple departments in our company
• Passion for learning about and understanding internet marketing and paid ads
• Has prior experience in editing videos and audios, podcasting and blogging.
